Hickory King White Corn (Zea mays) a heirloom staple in various parts of the American South historically in the early 20th century. This dent corn is a consistant producer. Often producing stalks up to 12-14′ high and 2 or 3 10+” long ears of corn. This corn can be eaten during the milk stage via roasting or like sweet corn or left on the stalk until it is dry and brown for common American delicacies like cornbread, grits, corn mush, tamales, tortillas, etc. It can also be grown for livestock feed if desired too.
