Cape sundew (Drosera capensis). A relatively uncommon carnivourous plant, often not seen in big box stores or local nurseries. Cape Sundew create stunning dew drops, which are used to lure in their prey to their sticky fate. These plants do a great job at helping reduce the number of fruit flies/fungus gnats in an area. They require full sun, distilled water, and need to stay wet constantly. DO NOT use regular potting soil or tap water on this plant as it will kill it. If the plants get too cold they may go into dormancy and appear dead though this is not always the case. Hibernation is not required for this species.
